Description

"STOMP THE STIGMA 5K" for Mental Health Awareness.  May is Mental Health Awareness Month.  Join us to raise awareness for those living with mental health issues and help reduce the stigma surrounded by it.  

Charitable Beneficiary has been named as Long Island P.R.E.P. 

Long Island P.R.E.P was established in 2017 to raise awareness for mental health and substance abuse prevention in our schools. They offer a variety of programs, involving mental health awareness and substance abuse prevention focusing on K-12 education in schools as well as community awareness and professional development workshops for adults and professionals.  Their anchor program, an assistive technology software, was designed for parents and social emotional education staff in our schools for early identification and intervention services for students struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse.
